Senzo Pro Rear Sprocket Half Tooth 219 Pitch

219 Half-Tooth (0.5) Sprocket

7075-T6 Aluminium · Directional Tooth Profile · 72.5–79.5 Teeth

A half-tooth adjustment in gearing can make the difference between holding the power band and falling out of it. The Senzo Pro 0.5 sprocket offers finer gearing adjustment without changing the front sprocket, helping you set up your kart to suit the engine's requirements. CNC-machined from aerospace-grade 7075-T6 aluminium, it combines strength, low rotating mass and a precise tooth profile for consistent performance.

How Half-Tooth Works

The sprocket does not literally have half a tooth. Instead, its teeth are re-profiled and spaced slightly closer together, allowing a standard 219 chain to seat correctly while shifting the effective rolling diameter by half a tooth's worth of ratio. This provides a gearing step between whole-tooth options.

Because the tooth profile is shaped, the sprocket is directional, with an arrow marking the correct rotation. Install it in the indicated direction to help ensure smooth chain operation. Incorrect installation may cause the chain to derail.

Performance & Features

  • Half-Tooth Resolution: Adjust the final drive ratio in 0.5-tooth steps when a full-tooth change is too large. Fine-tune acceleration out of slow corners or optimise top-end performance without changing the front sprocket.
  • Tight Machining Tolerance: CNC-machined from 7075-T6 aircraft-grade aluminium for precise chain engagement and consistent gearing.
  • Reduced Drivetrain Loss: The optimised tooth profile is designed to support smooth chain engagement and help reduce friction and wear.
  • Stay in the Power Band: Fine gearing adjustments help keep engine RPM within the effective power range through corners and along the straights.
  • Full Range: Available from 72.5 to 79.5 teeth in 0.5 increments for detailed race-day gearing adjustments.

Quick Gearing Guide

  • Increase by 0.5 (shorter gearing): Consider when acceleration out of slow corners feels weak or RPM drops below the power band on exit.
  • Decrease by 0.5 (longer gearing): Consider when the engine reaches the limiter early or struggles to maintain useful RPM towards the end of a straight.
  • Rule of Thumb: If gearing is slightly off, try a 0.5-tooth adjustment. If it is clearly unsuitable across the circuit, consider a full-tooth change.
  • Important: Always check that the arrow points in the direction of rotation before running the kart.
